AC and Transient Analysis of Arrester Behavior in Medium and High Voltage Power Systems
The system and arresters in question are modeled using ATP. The circuits are subjected in temporary overvoltages, switching surges, and lightning surges. The response of the arresters are analyzed and ratings of the arresters can be closely coordinated with the system.
